Local MP Kevin Foster was very concerned to see yesterday’s announcement regarding Torquay United FC being placed into administration by its owner.
Kevin plans to meet with Torquay United Supporters Trust in the next couple of days, and will then raise the club’s plight with Government Ministers at Westminster next week.
Kevin agrees with residents and fans who have already contacted him that TUFC is a much loved & valued part of our local community in Torbay, and he will work with local and national organisations and supporters to try to secure a viable future for the club.
Kevin Foster has welcomed the Conservatives’ new Triple Lock Plus, cutting taxes for pensioners across Torbay and guaranteeing people will never pay income tax on their State Pension.
