First pioneered in 2003, Street Pastors teams continue to be established both here in the UK and across the world, and the work they do is vital in ensuring that those who are enjoying a night out remain safe and secure.

The Torbay Street Pastors mobile unit can be found every Friday and Saturday night In Torquay, Brixham and Paignton, whilst the Safe Place Vehicle is situated on Torquay Harbourside from 22.00 - 02:00 on Friday nights and 22.00 - 04.00 on Saturday nights. The teams carry out all kinds of services that help to keep these enjoying their evenings safe - they provide flip flops, water and basic first aid to those that require it, as well as working with night time economy agencies to collect and dispose of bottles, broken glass an anything that could potentially be used as a weapon.
