Number 32 Bus Campaign Success

Local MP Kevin Foster was up early this morning with constituent Rosemary Shaw, ready to welcome the newly restored No. 32 bus service linking Shiphay with the Willows.

Purple Angel Dementia Centre opening.

Kevin was delighted to attend the opening of the Purple Angel Day Centre today at the Acorn Centre in Barton, Torquay.

He was met by Norrrms and Bridie to officially launch the new venture by cutting the cake to celebrate the opening.

Community Bus Campaign Victory

Victory was declared yesterday in the campaign to get Bus Services restored to communities which lost their vital link in April.

Success For Bus Campaign As Funding Announced.

Kevin Foster MP has today (Wednesday 7th March 2018) welcomed news Torbay Council will provide £95,000 of capital funding to the Torbay Community Development Trust to support the running of Community Bus Services.

Round 5 of the Coastal Communities Fund (CCF)

Kevin encourages those eligible to apply for Round 5 of the Coastal Communities Fund (CCF) in England which opened earlier this week. At least £40 million is available in this funding round which covers the period 2019-20 to 2020-21.
