Local MP, Kevin Foster, has been contacted by a number of residents asking for his views on recent events in Downing Street.

Kevin believes the Prime Minister has made the right decison to stand down and make way for new leadership. The Country and the Bay faces a number of challenges at the moment, ranging from the cost of living to ensuring local people can get the housing they need.

Kevin believes the Government needs to focus on these, and deliver solutions to them. 

With regards to Kevin's own position as a U.K. Home Office Minisiter, a number of briefs in Government involve essential daily operational issues, including matters relating to security and immigration.

It can not be left to one side whilst a new leader is identified and Kevin has continued as a Government Minister on this basis.
