Local MP Kevin Foster met this week with a major local retailer in Torquay, to discuss anti social behaviour including persistent begging and shop lifting in the Town Centre. Although police are carrying out a major local initiative in Torquay over a four week period, residents and business owners would like to see more done.
With this in mind, Kevin followed straight on from his meeting by heading to Westminster, where he asked Home Secretary Suella Braverman KC MP what additional support the Government with be giving both Torbay Council and the local police – including PSPO’s (Public Space Protection Orders), to improve both Torquay and Paignton Town Centres both for local people, and visitors.
