Save Paignton Ambulance Station πŸš‘

The future of Paignton’s Ambulance Station has been thrown into doubt.

Paignton Ambulance Station, on Totnes Road in the heart of Paignton, can house four emergency ambulances which are regularly crewed and deployed from this location.

The Ambulance Station is currently located in a building rented by South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWAFT) on Totnes Road, Paignton (shared with St John Ambulance). Yet it has been revealed this building will no longer be available for the operational use beyond September this year, as their lease is due to end and will not be renewed.

With no confirmed plans to relocate Paignton Ambulance Station, its resources or staff to an alternative site within Paignton Town Centre significant concerns about potential impacts on response times to emergency incidents in Paignton, especially during the busy summer season, are being raised, with calls for Paignton Ambulance Station to be saved by finding a new site in the Town Centre. You can back the calls to Save Paignton's Ambulance Station by signing the petition below πŸ‘‡

"We the undersigned call on the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWAFT) to save Paignton Ambulance Station and work with partners, including Torbay Council, to find a new location for this vital service within Paignton."
